World-class Classical Guitar in Wilmington, Delaware

Jeremy Lyons recap

Jeremy Lyons - click to enlargeThanks to everyone who joined us for the Jeremy Lyons concert and master class this weekend. Your show of support enables us to hold more of these events, and we are already looking forward to a larger concert season next year.

For those who were unable to join us, Mr. Lyons played a fantastic concert Sunday afternoon for a very enthusiastic audience. His program included Sonata in a minor, BWV 1003 by J. S. Bach, Hommage à Chopin by Alexandre Tansman, Fantaisie, Op.7 by Fernando Sor, and concluded with Junto al Generalife and Invocación y Danza by Joaquín Rodrigo. His sensitive and seemingly effortless playing garnered him a well-deserved standing ovation.

The master class on Friday was equally successful. Five fortunate students played for Jeremy Lyons and the audience, and all did a superb job. Many thanks to all who participated and attended. I’m sure everyone walked away with valuable insight.
